John Hammarberg has released his modern remake of the Commodore Globe demo for the REU at World of Commodore. You can get a D64 copy here from the Commodore Scene Database, a 512K REU is recommended but it will work for 256K and 128K. There is also a YouTube video of the demo. Thanks John!
The next TPUG meeting will be on Thursday December 15th, 2016 at 7:30 PM. This is our annual informal Christmas get-together, we’ll watch some classic Commodore holiday-themed demos and play some games! Feel free to bring drinks and snacks. Meeting is upstairs this month!

To complement Bil Herd’s talk on Saturday, there will be a showing of “8 Bit Generation: The Commodore Wars” at World of Commodore on Sunday December 4th in the afternoon.

TPUG is pleased to announce that former Commodore engineer, Bil Herd, will be attending and speaking at this year’s World of Commodore! Bil was head engineer on the Commodore C128 and TED series machines.

The next TPUG meeting will be on Thursday October 20th, 2016 at 7:30 PM. There will be a demo of the rare Commodore 65, a presentation on Amiga graphics, as well as the usual discussion on all things Commodore and retro.

Toronto’s Revue Cinema will be having two showings of “8 Bit Generation: The Commodore Wars” on September 21st and September 22nd, 2016 at 7:00 PM. TPUG will be supporting the event and bringing a few Commodore systems for patrons to check out and play games on before and after the showings. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Hope to see you there!
